Their are many halfway houses throughout the Kentucky area. Halfway houses are designed to help inmates to slowly rehabilitate theirselves back to living life on the outside. I spent a year at the Transitions house in Ashland Kentucky. Most halfway house have work programs and programs for rehabilitation.
Work programs are designed to help inmates to get theirselves prepared for the world on the outside. Outside detail work usually consists of anything from working on the waste truck to working for the water department and even sometimes in my case I got to work at the Paramount Theatre.
The programs that are setup for rehabilitation could include AA , NA, Substance Abuse Program, and comprehensive skills.
